1. Letters may crack if knocked unevenly; this is normal and does not affect functionality.
2. Recommended for vegetable-tanned leather. Wetting the leather improves results. Not suitable for chrome-tanned leather.

Usage

• Reference the effects on different types of leather for optimal results.

How to Use

1. Prepare Your Workspace:

   • Choose a sturdy, flat surface to work on.
   • Place your leather piece on a firm surface to ensure clean impressions.

2. Dampen the Leather:

   • Lightly dampen the leather with a sponge or cloth. This makes the leather more pliable and receptive to the stamp.

3. Select Your Stamp:

   • Choose the desired stamp from the set (capital letter, lowercase letter, number, or special character).

4. Position the Stamp:

   • Place the stamp firmly on the leather where you want the design.

5. Stamp the Leather:

   • Hold the stamp handle with one hand.
   • Use a mallet (not included) to strike the top of the stamp firmly and evenly.
   • Apply steady pressure to avoid double-hitting, which can blur the design.

6. Repeat as Needed:

   • Continue stamping additional designs, ensuring each is properly aligned and spaced as desired.

7. Let It Dry:

   • Allow the stamped leather to dry completely. This helps the design set permanently.

8. Optional Finishing Touches:

   • Apply leather dye or paint to enhance the design.
   • Use a leather conditioner to keep the leather soft and preserve the stamped area.

Tips for Best Results:

• Practice on a scrap piece of leather first to get comfortable with the technique.
• Keep the leather damp but not too wet to avoid smudging.
• Experiment with different stamps and combinations to create unique designs.
• Note: If using frequently, consider investing in brass or metal stamps for greater durability.
